Psychology, with perspective.

Meet Dr. Rami Nader and the purpose behind The Psychology of You.

Why this resource exists

A label can describe a difficulty without explaining what happens during an ordinary day. Why does reassurance help for only a moment? Why can avoiding an uncomfortable situation make the next attempt harder? Why can motivation be missing precisely when activity might help?

This site gives those questions room. The written guides connect explanations with everyday examples, while the video library offers longer discussions in Dr. Nader's own words. Readers can choose a topic, follow related ideas and return to the format that suits them.

Read and watch together

The psychology guides cover common difficulties, thinking patterns and treatment principles. Each guide includes reflection questions, further reading and selected videos. The video library includes the newest videos and a searchable archive of earlier discussions.

All of these educational resources are freely accessible. Website advertising, when displayed, is separate from the educational material and does not represent a clinical recommendation.

Education and individual care

General information can make a conversation with a professional easier. It cannot establish the cause of a symptom or tell an individual which treatment is appropriate. Similar experiences can have different explanations, and physical symptoms may need medical assessment.

Reading this website or watching a video does not create a professional treatment relationship. If you need personal support, see finding help. For the approach to examples, sources and corrections, read about these resources.
